About Us

Ducklings Pre-school is a well-established charity-run preschool which has been operating since 1990.

We are located in a Methodist church hall with plenty of outdoor play space.

We offer places to children from after their 2nd birthday through to 4 years/entry into school.

We are a preschool that strongly believes in the benefits of outdoor play and as such spend the majority of our day enjoying the outdoors in all weathers.

We were inspected by Ofsted in May 2022 and were delighted to be graded as 'good' across all areas.

“Children feel safe and secure. Staff form strong bonds with them and give them plenty of praise. This supports children's emotional well-being effectively.”

We have close links with Chickerell Primary Academy, Weymouth. When the children are in their final Pre-school year, we support their transition into reception.
